About KACE Programs

Legal Education and Consultation

Empowering communities through knowledge, access, and advocacy.

The Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) Legal Education and Consultation Program is a vital initiative that provides Korean American communities with accessible, culturally competent legal resources. Through free educational workshops, one-on-one consultations, and community forums, the program equips individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate complex legal systems. Covering issues such as immigration, housing, workers’ rights, and civil liberties, KACE’s legal program empowers participants to protect their rights and advocate for themselves and others. By bridging language and access gaps, the program plays a crucial role in advancing justice and equity for underserved populations.

KACE Grassroots Internship

Educate. Engage. Empower the next generation.

The Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) Grassroots Internship Program is a cornerstone initiative designed to educate, engage, and empower young Korean Americans in civic life. Through direct involvement in voter registration drives, policy research, community outreach, and legislative advocacy, interns gain firsthand experience in grassroots organizing and public service. The program not only builds essential leadership and communication skills but also instills a strong sense of civic duty and cultural identity. By nurturing informed and active citizens, the KACE Grassroots Internship Program helps cultivate the next generation of changemakers who will lead their communities with purpose and impact.

Town Hall Meetings

Connecting voices, building power, shaping policy together.

The Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) Town Hall Meetings in New York and New Jersey serve as vital platforms for civic dialogue, transparency, and community-driven change. These gatherings bring together elected officials, community leaders, and local residents to discuss pressing issues—from immigration and public safety to education and voting rights. By fostering open conversation and direct engagement with policymakers, KACE’s Town Halls empower Korean American communities to raise their concerns, share their stories, and influence decisions that affect their daily lives. Through these events, KACE strengthens civic participation and ensures that community voices are heard and valued at every level of government.

Community Research Projects

Data that drives action, research that uplifts communities.

The Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) Community Research Programs are dedicated to producing data-driven insights that inform advocacy, policy, and resource allocation for Korean American communities. Through surveys, studies, and community-based research, these programs uncover the social, economic, and political challenges faced by underserved populations in New York, New Jersey, and beyond. By centering the voices and experiences of Korean Americans, KACE’s research initiatives help identify gaps in services, amplify community needs, and shape more equitable public policies. This evidence-based approach ensures that KACE’s civic engagement efforts are grounded in real-world understanding and driven by the communities they serve.
